During the 50s there were three black men who worked in the kitchen and may have spoken Gullah. I remember Reuben and Earl, but I can't remember the name of the other one. Anyone's memory better than mine?

So sorry to hear about Frank's passing. I remember him as a supportive kounselor, and also as my Sunday school teacher for at least one year at KI in Phila. My condolences to the family.

Just read some disturbing news on my rabbinic listserve. Rabbi Frank Sundheim suffered a major stroke on May 1. Don't have any idea of his current status. Will let you know when I hear more.
