Have not looked at Board in toooooo long. Busy being retired, doing kitchen rehab (was genl contractor & lackey), & trying to decide what to do about my father's failing health (he's in Phila & will be 97 next week). Definitely ready for KK reunion.

KKW,

Hi guys!
I'm from the era of mid to late 1930's. We just found your website and have had some great fun looking at the photos. Loved seeing the change to the Kamp over time. My Fellow Kampers were Dave Greenburg, Jerry Hahn, Pete Fisher, Jim Hersch to name a few. Any of you guys from this time period still alive? Chat Later, Dick Leopold (1935- 1939)

Count me in,I just received a great message from Robert Cohen about the reunion. I contacted my cousin, Steve Stein, who may be interested as well. After navigating through my 50th high school reunion which comes up this year, the Kamp reunion will be even more fun in 2011. September 10th,17th,or 24th sound good.

As Nehru suggested to me the weekend of September 10 or September 17 might work best.

I am in. I checked and Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on Wednesday, September 28. For two day guys like me that means Saturday, October 1 is out. Also, Yom Kippur is Saturday, October 8, 2011. I think we should do it in September to minimize disruption by an unusual October snow storm. Turns out my HS 50th is September 17, 2011, so if Saturdays Sept 10, the 24th or the 3rd over Labor Day weekend works for others, I'd appreciate it.

I am in for a reunion, but it needs to avoid the Jewish holidays as I am sort of busy then.

Count me in. I'll see if I can get some of the Harrisburg contingent on board. Also, anyone on facebook.....you should "like" Charles "Chunky" Fleischer's page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/charles.fleischer1

I'll be there!

Sasndy Jo--disregard BS...there's a reason why we call him "BS"...no need to look up the ACE Center on the internet. It's a hardware center in the shadow of the Nicholson Bridge. See you there.

I've already surveyed Gordon Lawrence, Lee Kalcheim, Jimmy Adler, Pete Rapp, Stu Fuld and Steve Moses - all sent in their immediate and enthusiastic Kee Kee Wahs. So we're on for a reunion in 2011! Sandy: check the ACE Center at www.aceconferencecenter.com

May I be the first of many to cast a vote of yea....where in the hell is the ACE center, do I have to make plans now to get there?

Now that the July 4 discussion has spawned some interest on this website (the sound of hairbrushes on canteen lids is still in my ears), I propose that we launch a formal effort to re-convene at the next Reunion in September--October, 2011.

Dick Sundheim tells me that the Ace Center has been asking when we will be returning. I suggest the same venue. Dick also has wisely invested the left-over funds from our last outing--the total is about four thousand dollars.

Let's generate some interest in this space. So that we know there is sufficient interest, we will consider this medium to be a modern-day Knocker Office--vote early and often by telling all that you have an interest in attending the next KK Reunion. We'll have no nomination speeches in the Mess Hall ("he's a good sport and good in all other sports"). Just add your message for all to read.

See you in '11.

Dave
